Dr. Ed Perdue | Pediatric Dentist | Nashville, Tennessee
Why a Pediatric Dentist?
Like pediatricians, pediatric dentists specialize in treating very young children to teenagers. Two to three years of training after dental school prepares them for the special oral health care needs of children, adolescents and people with special needs.
Pediatric dentists are experienced with communication techniques that allow them to establish a trusting relationship with children. This bond of trust allows the dental team, in cooperation with the child's family, to provide state of the art preventative, restorative and imperceptive orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Perdue's office is designed specifically with children in mind. Colorful artwork, video games, televisions at each custom designed dental chair and kid sized equipment all play a part in making your child's dental experience a positive one.
Our Mission Statement
We want God to be glorified in all we do in our office. Success here is defined as the doctor and staff becoming a team to establish lasting relationships with families and their children. This relationship is built on trust. The goal of this relationship is for our team to provide compassionate, comprehensive oral healthcare for children, teens and special needs patients. We aim to educate parents and patients about preventing oral disease, with information on hygiene, diet and regular check- ups. We believe this will build trust over time as our office shows consistent integrity, values and selfless service to our patients. The parents then see the value of what we do for them. We believe this relationship will enable us to provide pediatric dentistry that maintains optimal oral health for our patients and reduces the anxiety of visiting the dentist now and into adulthood.
