Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt provides hospital dentistry services after dental emergencies, accidents, sports injuries and workplace accidents. If you suffer a particularly painful toothache, chipped tooth, cracked tooth or other significant oral health problem, you can benefit from our hospital dentistry services. These services are reserved to those who are in urgent need of hospital dentistry procedures. If you suffer a dental ailment that can be handled by your regular dentist during normal business hours, consider waiting for the practice to open unless you have a true dental emergency.

If you lose a tooth, place it in a glass of water or milk. You can also place the tooth in a plastic bag. If possible, our dentist will reattach the tooth so you can continue to use it for chewing purposes and also to avoid the addition of an artificial tooth.
