Tooth Extractions

There might come a point in time when your tooth is decayed or damaged to the point that it requires extraction. In some instances, our dentist, Dr. Edward Perdue DDS, extracts teeth so they can be replaced with artificial teeth such as dental implants or dentures. Whether your tooth is infected, worn, chipped, broken or decayed, our dentist will extract it in as a painless a manner as possible. You will be given a dental anesthetic prior to the extraction of your tooth so you do not feel pain as the tooth is removed from your mouth. The replacement of a decayed or damaged tooth with a dental implant or other faux tooth restores full chewing functionality, improves the look of your smile and also prevents food particles and bacteria from moving into the space created after tooth extraction.

In some cases, patients need impacted wisdom teeth extracted to prevent problems down the line. In other instances, the tooth in question has suffered significant wear or damage that it is incapable of holding strong. Have your tooth removed and replaced with a partial denture or dental implant at our office and you will be comfortable throughout the entirety of these procedures. Be proactive, have our dental professionals extract your problematic tooth and you will rest easy throughout the entirety of the procedure.
